Laura was born on September 22, 1984 in Ontario, Canada, as Laura Dianne Vandervoort. The actress had a memorable childhood as she was raised well by her parents, as well as her sister Sarah. Her performance landed her playing the role of KaraKent/Supergirl, the equally powerful cousin to main character Clark Kent. Beginning in the seventh season, she acted as a regular, then as a guest in subsequent seasons.
In the time after Smallville, Laura Vandervoort was on The Untitled (2011); Ted (2012); Haven (2012); and Ballers (2015).
