The Mooncalf is a small, calf-like beast with enormous eyes and a shy personality. They can be observed dancing when the light of the full moon hits the ground.
Where to find a Mooncalf Den
Mooncalf Dens are fairly common to find. You can find one in the Forbidden Forest next to the North Ford Bog Entrance Floo Flame. Head south and you'll find the den. Mooncalves can only be found during the night. If you get to a Den during the day, open up your map and click on the "Wait" button to advance time.
Shiny Mooncalf

Males and females are the same size and come in a variety of different colors. However, the shiny mooncalf is white in color with blue eyes.
